In preparation for reauthorization of the child nutrition and WIC programs, a diverse group of national organizations, co-chaired by the School Nutrition Association and the Food Research and Action Center, and representing anti-hunger, religious, education, medical, nutrition, direct service, school food, pre-school and child care, unions, children, after school, industry, agriculture and a host of other groups, recently proposed key principles. The Statement of Principles of the Child Nutrition Forum, which is convened every reauthorization and represents hundreds of groups and millions of members, can be endorsed by state or local SNA organizations, school boards, companies and local community grassroots groups. Click here to the read the principles and sign on: Child Nutrition Forum Statement of Principles
