Healthy Edge: Building Healthy School Meals Focuses On Building Good School Nutrition
Alexandria, VA (October 24, 2005) – The School Nutrition Association, the Child Nutrition Foundation and Kraft Foods announce the launch of Healthy Edge: Building Healthy School Meals an online continuing education curriculum providing nutritious meal instruction to child nutrition professionals. The curriculum provides child nutrition professionals with 10 credit hours of continuing education developed to help them provide safe, healthy school meals, while teaching children the value of good nutrition. The program is an approved course for any professional seeking SNA certification.
The much anticipated course helps professionals piece together the often complex puzzle of providing nutritious, tasty foods that kids will enjoy. It also helps professionals understand the importance of reasonable portion sizes and the value of nutrition education for promoting a healthy lifestyle.

This online course replaces the previous HE2K CD Rom, which became inactive October 21, 2005.
