June 7, 2012 – This week, SNA CEO Frank DiPasquale was featured on “Food News Today,” the weekly webcast hosted by food expert Phil Lempert that covers the latest news, trends and happenings in the food world. The segment provides an update on school meals and a preview of the healthy options students will find in schools starting this fall. The video also responds to recent legislation—including the SLICE (School Lunch Improvements in Children’s Education) Act—and other misinformation in the news about pizza being considered a vegetable in school cafeterias.
