SNAC Chats

SNA Communications (SNAC) Chats are webinars with SNA and state leaders on a host of topics including everything from membership recruitment and retention plans, public relations activities, what’s new in education and more! SNAC Chats are usually held on the second Tuesday at 2:00 pm ET of every other month.

August 12, 2014: This SNAC Chat includes highlights for the year ahead, information on state legislative support, important deadlines and reminders, and updates on advocacy, membership and the certificate program from SNA. Special guest, Debbie Shiflett, President of SNA of Virginia, also shared chapter resources provided by her state association.

May 6, 2014: This SNAC Chat includes information on communicating the New Strategic Plan, Keys to Excellence Benchmarking Tool, an Advocacy Update, a Membership Update, information on Membership Drives, Revamped Star Club, Streamlined Awards Program, Requesting Materials, End-of-Year Reminders for States, and sharing of State Successes from 2013-14.

September 24, 2013: This webinar is being provided to state leaders as an opportunity to review current SNA certification and credentialing requirements and policies. It offers insight into the application, maintenance, and renewal procedures for the associated programs.
