Badge Policy

For security purposes, each person must present identification in order to receive your registration packet and will not be allowed to pick-up another attendee’s registration packet. In addition, please note badges must be worn during the conference hours for admittance to the pre-conference, breakout and general sessions, as well as social events. Anyone without a CNIC 2013 badge will be asked to register for the conference. To reprint a lost badge, there will be a fee of $5.00. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.

Cancellations & Schedule Changes

Circumstances beyond SNA's control—weather, transportation difficulties or last-minute cancellations by program participants (speakers, presenters)—may necessitate changes in the scheduling or presentation of events and/or programs or even cancellation of a particular scheduled event or speaker. SNA cannot be responsible in any way to any conference attendee for any disappointment, inconvenience or "loss" caused by such an eventuality.

Conference Photos

Attendance or participation in SNA meetings and other activities constitutes an agreement by the attendee for SNA's use and distribution of the attendee's image or voice in photographs, videotapes, electronic reproductions and audiotapes taken during the conference.

Continuing Education Units (CEUs)

To make it as easy as possible for you to maintain your Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for certification renewal, SNA will update your CEU record with your paid registration and attendance at CNIC 2013. You will see the number of CEUs earned on your online transcript, which can be viewed at any time on SNA’s website, www.schoolnutrition.org, by logging into MySNA. The pre-approved number of 11.5 CEUs will be awarded for CNIC 2013. This includes education, breakout and Innovation Station sessions. The 11.5 CEUs does not include the Pre-Conference session.

Key Area Hours

SNA will offer Key Area Hours for CNIC sessions. Tracking forms will be available at registration. The Key Area Hours offered will not be populated in your MySNA transcript. You must complete the tracking form and submit it with your certification application form, additional documentation of Key Area Hours and payment to SNA.

Special Needs

SNA is committed to making all CNIC activities accessible to all attendees. For special needs, including dietary for events serving food/beverages, contact SNA at (800) 877-8822, ext. 127.

Antitrust Policy Statement

It is the policy of the SNA and it is the responsibility of every Association member and participating school food industry organization to comply in all respects with federal and state antitrust laws. No activity or discussion at any Association meeting or other function may be engaged in for the purpose of bringing about any understanding or agreement among members that may violate or appear to violate the antitrust laws, including but not limited to raise, lower or stabilize prices; to regulate production; to allocate markets; to encourage boycotts; to foster unfair trade practices; to assist monopolization; or to in any way violate federal or state antitrust laws. Any questions regarding the meaning or applicability of this policy, as well as any concerns regarding activities or discussions at Association meetings, should be promptly brought to the attention of SNA.
