MyPlate Mixer
Monday, January 16

This fun networking activity is based on the USDA’s 2010 Dietary Guidelines for Americans. MyPlate.gov is designed to remind attendees to eat healthfully and guide them to resources and tools to put the Dietary Guidelines into action.  Through this food experience, you will have an opportunity to put those guidelines into practice. This Mixer is also your chance to network with all the Innovation Station companies. Each company representative will be available to answer your questions and provide information that you can use within your own school district. You don’t want to be out of the mix!

Image of Us Wellness Event
Monday, January 16

Be the example of wellness that your staff, students, family and others will want to follow by participating in this fun activity. Multiple marathon finisher Gary Vonck, vice president of education sales for KeyImpact Sales & Systems and Ironman competitor Kim Schwabenbauer, corporate dietitian for Super Bakery, will lead groups through a non-competitive 1 to 3 mile run or walk, with various turn around points based on your own comfort level. Or, if you prefer, you can join the Omni Resort’s fitness instructor for a non-intense and relaxing session of tai chi.
