GETTING TO DALLAS

Air Travel

To reserve your airline tickets, you may use MacNair Travel Agency at 703-650-5344 or toll free 866-345-2562 and www.macnair.com, or other Internet travel services, such as Orbitz, Expedia and Travelocity.

The Dallas area is served by two airports: Dallas Love Field Airport (DAL) and Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW), offering more than 2,000 daily flights combined and serving all major domestic carriers. Flight status and information on individual air carriers can be found at www.dallas-lovefield.com and www.dfwairport.com. Downtown Dallas hotels are just minutes from DAL and approximately 20 miles or 25 minutes from DFW.

Ground Transportation

Super Shuttle is the official airport shuttle provider for SNA’s 2010 Annual National Conference. Attendees will receive shuttle service to and from DAL and DFW and downtown Dallas for $28 roundtrip. To use SuperShuttle, call (800) 258-3826 or visit www.supershuttle.com/default.aspx?GC=C55PZ  to make reservations. When booking by phone, be sure to reference group code C55PZ. Taxicabs are available at a rate of $16-$20 one-way from DAL and $35-$44 one-way from DFW.

Public Transportation

DART: DART (Dallas Area Rapid Transit) moves people around town with nearly 45 miles of light-rail services and 120 routes by bus transit. DART drops visitors off at the Convention Center and makes it easy to get to other points of interest all over the city, including the most popular entertainment, cultural and shopping destinations. For information on routes, schedules and fares, visit www.dart.org.

Streetcars: M-Line Streetcars, also known as the McKinney Avenue Trolleys, have become a favorite for Dallas visitors, providing convenient service downtown to the McKinney Avenue entertainment district on four authentic, early 20th century trolley cars.

Highway Information

If you prefer to drive, Dallas is easy to get to from most major cities in the region, thanks to its location at the intersection of numerous highways. Dallas toll roads also provide an alternative route if other thoroughfares are slow due to traffic; tolls vary depending on the length of your trip. For directions, log on to www.visitdallas.com.

Parking

There are two separate parking garages located beneath the main level of exhibit space at the Dallas Convention Center; these offer up to 1,200 parking spaces. Both provide easy access to the convention complex. The current daily parking rate is approximately $10 per vehicle.
