October 23, 2012 – The School Nutrition Foundation (SNF) is proud to announce that it has reached a fundraising milestone for the Josephine Martin Endowment Fund. As of today, SNF has raised $10,155 toward the ultimate goal of $75,000.

The Josephine Martin Endowment Committee has been hard at work since the Fund’s formation just two months ago. The aim of the Fund is to provide an SNA member the opportunity to travel to Washington, D.C., for the SNA’s Legislative Action Conference for the first time.

This Fund serves as a fitting tribute to Dr. Martin’s passion for child nutrition and ensures that the voices of child nutrition professionals will continue to be heard by legislators and policy makers at the local, state and national level.
