The ANC Exhibit Hall gives you a unique opportunity to view, taste and touch products designed to improve the success of your school nutrition operation.
Whether you have the authority to make purchase decisions or you help influence those decisions, you can make the most of your visit to the Exhibit Hall by coming prepared. Take a few minutes before you arrive in Dallas to identify the vendors that interest you and map out your visit Exhibit Hall experience in advance. The Exhibit Hall once again will include the popular dedicated aisles Dairy Way, Produce Row and USDA Lane, as well as a new addition: Eco-Friendly Aisle. In these special areas, you will discover everything from fruit, vegetable and going green trends to dairy products, USDA foods and their vendors.
Don’t forget to participate in School Nutrition magazine’s annual Exhibit Hall Scavenger Hunt. All you need to do is visit participating exhibitors and request that they punch or initial your playing card (found in your onsite Program Guide) and return the completed card to the SN booth in the Exhibit Hall to enter a drawing for many fabulous prizes. Winners will be posted at the SN booth on Wednesday, July 14. All foodservice operator and state agency attendee are eligible to participate.
Also, if you are an SNA member at the Major City or District Director level, you won’t want to miss the special Exhibit Hall time, Tuesday, July 13, 9:00 am to 11:00 am, that has been set aside for you to walk the aisles and network with exhibitors. As you enter the Exhibit Hall during this special time, be sure to pick up your an “All-Access Pass” card and get it signed by any five companies. Then just drop it off at the Exhibit Hall entrance by the end of this special time. Fifteen directors will win a 2011 SNA Conference Package, with free registrations for all SNA conferences in 2011 (CNIC, LAC and ANC; a $1,200 value). Winners will be notified on Wednesday morning and directed to a sponsoring company’s booth to pick up a certificate.
Finally, the Exhibit Hall hours are designed not to conflict with scheduled education sessions, so there’s no need to tackle everything at once. So pace yourself and remember to have fun!
