Where can you get a first glimpse of what’s new and hot to the school nutrition market? The ANC New Product Showcase, of course! So make sure you stop by the display case located near Registration in Delta Lobby B (Level 2) in the Gaylord Opryland Convention Center! Twenty-four companies are currently lined up to showcase their innovations that have been introduced into the school nutrition market within the last year. To view a list of the companies participating and their products, download the New Product Showcase listing (pdf).

While you’re in the Registration area, be sure to also stop by the School Nutrition Foundation’s (SNF) Learning Lab, where you will find fresh, new ideas for enhancing your career with SNF’s exciting programs. You will be able to hear short presentations about Breakfast in the Classroom, the HealthierUS School Challenge, National Dairy Council’s Fuel Up to Play 60 program and more. The Learning Lab will be open Sunday-Wednesday, check the Conference at a Glance in your onsite ANC Program Guide for hours of operation.
Are you looking to introduce some of the latest product innovations in your district to get students excited? Be sure to take at least one pass by the New Product Showcase!
Think you know everything that SNF is up to these days? We bet you’d be surprised at just how many opportunities and programs they’re working on to help advance the careers of SNA members!
As past attendees will attest, there's no place like ANC for connecting you with your school nutrition colleagues across the country. But what about the rest of the year?! To help you stay connected and engaged with your peers throughout the year, SNA is launching the School Nutrition Network (SNN), the online professional community created exclusively for SNA members to share ideas and learn from each other.
We hope you will find that having access to member forums, blogs and discussion groups is an exciting new benefit! To get a hands-on demo on how to maximize your SNN experience, stop by the Member Services Booth during ANC. You can also attend the ANC education session, “Introducing SNA’s New School Nutrition Network,” on Tuesday, July 12, 2:15-3:15 pm, to hear all about this virtual school nutrition community.
In the meantime, you can explore the SNN by logging in today and building your personal profile. All you need to log in to the SNN is your SNA website username and password. Once logged in, you can connect with colleagues around the country who share your common interest: a passion for child nutrition. The presence of your profile will help grow the community and make other members feel at home on SNN.
Have you already created your profile on SNN? If not, what are you waiting for?! Visit www.schoolnutrition.org/SNN today!
