As ANC 2011 in Nashville winds down, you’ll probably feel ready to take a break and relax with friends in true Music City style. To help you bring your ANC experience to a close, Alan Jackson will put on a memorable performance that is sure to have you and your school nutrition colleagues singin’ and dancin’ the night away.
Jackson has remained one of country music’s most successful singer-songwriters, regularly topping the country charts with one hit after another. Some of his well-known songs include “Good Time,” “Gone Country,” “Remember When,” “Don’t Rock the Jukebox” and the Jimmy Buffett duet, “It’s Five O’Clock Somewhere.” His career includes more than 30 number-one hits
Jackson was inducted into the Georgia Music Hall of Fame and set a record at the 2002 Country Music Association awards for receiving the most nominations in a single year. He is the winner of two Grammy Awards, as well as numerous Academy of Country Music and Country Music Association awards.
As you’re making plans for your time in Nashville, be sure to join in the fun at the Final Event, beginning at 8:00 pm on Wednesday, July 13, at the world-famous Grand Ole Opry. A ticket to the show is included in the full ANC registration fee, but space is limited—registration does not guarantee a ticket.
